PRIVACY POLICY for online application procedures

Your privacy is important to the znt-Richter Group (hereinafter also referred to as "ZNT", "us", "we"). With this data protection declaration, we comply with our information obligations in accordance with Art. 13 and Art. 14 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Therefore, please take the time to read this privacy policy carefully.
§ 1 Name and address of the person responsible for processing
This data protection declaration applies to the processing of your personal data by the znt-Richter Group as the person responsible for this data processing in accordance with Art. 4 No. 7 DS-GVO. Below you will find our contact details:

§ 2 Responsibility within the ZNT
Within the znt-Richter Group, Management Holding GmbH fulfills the information obligations in accordance with Art. 13, 14 DS-GVO and is responsible for safeguarding the rights of those affected.
§ 3 Contact details of the data protection officer
ZNT has appointed a company data protection officer. You can reach him at the above address ("to the attention of data protection officer") or at the e-mail address ds[@]znt.de.
§ 4 Which categories of personal data do we process in this data processing?
When you apply to us using the online application form, the personal data you provide will be processed. This includes your personal contact details as well as your CV, qualifications, photographs and other application documents that you provide to us.
Furthermore, the following data is logged when accessing applicant management:
- Information about the browser type and version used (user agent, transmitted by the browser)
- Operating system (user agent, transferred from the browser)
- the unabridged IP address
- Date and time of access
- The website from which the user is redirected to the career page (referrer, transmitted from the browser)
When e-mails are received, the time, sender and recipient of the e-mails and the content are logged.
We also conduct interviews using our video conferencing system. The following personal data from you will be processed: content of the interview, your profile data such as name, e-mail address and log data, diagnosis and service data. Applicant interviews will not be recorded without your consent.
§ 5 What do we process your personal data for in this data processing?
We process your data to fill our vacancies and to select applicants.
§ 6 What is the legal basis for this data processing?
This is data processing for the purposes of the employment relationship in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR; § 26 paragraph 1 sentence 1 BDSG. Insofar as the data concerns special categories of personal data that you communicate to us (e.g. severely disabled status), the processing takes place on the legal basis of Article 9 (2) (b) GDPR, Section 26 (3) BDSG.
In order to store your data in our talent pool and to compare it with other bodies, we need your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time in whole or in part for the future at career[@]znt.de.
§ 7 With whom do we share your personal data in this data processing?
Only authorized persons from the HR department and managers involved in the application process have access to your data.
With the provider of our video conference system MS Teams, Microsoft Corp., One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA, we have agreed the standard data protection clauses of the EU as a suitable guarantee for data transmission. The data protection declaration of the service provider can be found here.
We also use other service providers who support us with the provision and support of IT systems and the archiving and destruction of documents. These service providers are based within the EEA/EU. They are integrated into our processes in accordance with data protection regulations.
§ 8 How long do we store your personal data in this data processing?
We store the data of successful applicants for the duration of the employment relationship.
We delete data from applicants who cannot be considered 6 months after the end of the application process. This is done to fulfill legal obligations or to defend against any claims arising from legal regulations.
With your consent, we will include your data in our "Talent Pool" for 12 months. If you agree, we can ask you before the 12 months have expired to extend the storage of your documents for a further 6 months. If you have given your consent for us to compare your profile with other positions, your data will be deleted 12 months after completion of the application process.
§ 9 Your rights
inquiry: You have the right to request information from ZNT at any time about the personal data we have stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR). This also applies to the recipients or categories of recipients to whom this data is passed on, the purpose and the duration of the storage.
Correction, deletion, restriction of processing: In addition, you have the right to request correction under the conditions of Art. 16 GDPR, deletion under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, or restriction of processing under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR.
data portability: Furthermore, under the conditions of Art. 20 GDPR, you can request data transfer at any time.
Objection to processing: In the case of processing of personal data for the performance of tasks in the public interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. e) DS-GVO) or for the protection of legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) DS -GVO), you can object to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future.

§ 10 Right of appeal to the supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. You can contact the data protection supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or our company headquarters.
